A new aircraft, more than 1,000 commercial flights, and a burger delivery to close things out. Port of the Future 2026 was a good week.

At the event, organised by the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, we welcomed a new drone type into our fleet. Through our partnership with HHLA Sky GmbH, the X25 joins ADLC and will help expand our delivery network across the port.

We also put our operations on display. Visitors saw how the SGS Samplifly service runs with the Phoenix-Wings GmbH Orca, and we marked a milestone : more than 1,000 commercial flights and 180 different petrochemical products flown in the port of Antwerp. Demo cargo flights with the X25 ran across both days.

We were glad to welcome the Portuguese Ports Delegation to our Operations Control Center during their visit to The Beacon, organised with FIT - Flanders Investment & Trade.

And we closed the week by delivering the first hamburgers to the Antwerp Innovation Powerhouse reception, in partnership with Stoof 36, following closing remarks from aldermen Johan Klaps and Ken Casier. Same corridor, same aircraft, considerably lower stakes.
