An APAC first. And it happened in Singapore

ADLC has been granted a 𝐔𝐀𝐒 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭 by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore for the transport and delivery of dangerous goods. This is the first permit of its kind ever issued in Singapore and across the APAC region, authorising operations with a class B aircraft.

This follows in rapid succession on the 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐔𝐀𝐒 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 (𝐋𝐔𝐂) ADLC secured just two weeks ago, covering dangerous goods operations across all EU member states. Being able to replicate that achievement in parallel in a completely different regulatory environment reflects both the robustness of the safety case and the maturity of the operational framework.

𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐞 is rightly celebrated as a global launchpad for innovation. Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and other agencies engaged with the team in a way that was rigorous, constructive and genuinely forward-looking.

When the safety case is built properly from the start, regulators have what they need to move with confidence. The process does not slow down innovation. For the 𝐀𝐀𝐌 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, the time for proof of concepts and regulatory groundwork is giving way to something more concrete. 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭, 𝐨𝐧-𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝, 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐚 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐞. It is permitted, operational and expanding.
